Cody – Owner & Registered Electrician

Hi, I’m Cody, the owner and registered electrician behind Twenty-Six Electrical.

I’ve been working in the electrical trade since 2012, gaining experience across a wide range of projects—from small residential jobs right through to large-scale commercial and industrial work. Over the years, I’ve worked on everything from everyday repairs and renovations to shop fit-outs, shopping mall wiring, and industrial installations, including wiring and servicing large motors and machinery.

This broad background means I’m comfortable working across residential, light commercial, and industrial environments, and I bring that same level of care and attention to detail to every job, no matter the size.

I started Twenty-Six Electrical to offer a service built on reliability, honest communication, and quality workmanship. As a locally owned business, you deal directly with me from start to finish—no middlemen and no shortcuts. I take pride in turning up on time, explaining things clearly, and leaving every site safe and tidy.

Outside of work, I’m married with two young daughters and two dogs, and I spend as much of my downtime as possible with my family. I’m also heavily involved in sport around Christchurch, particularly cricket and indoor cricket. I’ve represented Canterbury in indoor cricket, currently sit on the Canterbury Indoor Cricket board, and am also involved at club level.

You’ll often find me down at Action Indoor Sports on Iversen Terrace, where I help run the indoor cricket competitions throughout the year. Being part of that community and team is something I genuinely enjoy and take pride in.
